I am back in D.C., so here's some local fare from Holmes Run Acres in Falls Church. I told an Eames House docent, David, who is an architect, that many of the modern homes here in the D.C. area were designed and marketed as "California contemporaries." He got a kick out of that. They don't use that term in California.
