I live next door to this home. If anyone has any questions, please let me know. We're hopeful that there will be a buyer out there, who will understand it's value, and aesthetic. This home was a model home for Hollin Hills in 1953, and was fully furnished by Knoll. Ian

Ian, My husband and I are very interested in learning more about the house. What is the best way for us to contact you regarding it?

I would be curious to know the heating and cooling on a unit like this, assuming it has original windows. I remember someone from this neighborhood stating on this blog the month utilities were very expensive. that being said the butterfly roof is just hot hot hot.

Hard to say, George. Our house, and many others in the neighborhood have upgraded to insulated windows. The cost involved in the upgrade is worth it, in the long run.

I agree with your comments on the roof.
